Here's how it works: Homeowners can simply wave their hand over the MotionSense faucet's Wave Sensor to turn the water on or off. This sensor is great for filling large pots, rinsing the sink, or washing dishes. If one inadvertently walks away from the running faucet, there's no worry because it has a two-minute timer that automatically shuts it off.
A second Ready Sensor at the base of the MotionSense faucet senses when a drinking glass, dish, hand or any other object is placed under the spout. The flow is automatically activated as long as the object remains in place under the spout. Pull it away and the water flow ceases. This sensor is ideal for washing hands or rinsing dishes.
Technophobes need not panic. The MotionSense faucet also comes with a traditional handle that lets users control water flow and temperature manually.
